All articles published in the Iranian Journal of Educational Research (IJER) are open access which means the articles are freely available online for anyone to download and use the providing address to the individual authors. In the Iranian Journal of Educational Research (IJER) as an open-access journal, authors sign a publishing agreement where they will have ownership but grant broad publishing and distribution rights to the publisher, including the right to publish the article on the journal's website.

The Iranian Journal of Educational Research (IJER) follows the policies and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and abides by its Code of Conduct in dealing with potential cases of misconduct. The Iranian Journal of Educational Research (IJER) is committed to meeting and upholding standards of ethical behavior at all stages of the publication process. We follow closely the industry associations, such as the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) that set standards and provide guidelines for best practices in order to meet these requirements.
