Copyright Policy
Authors retain unrestricted copyrights and publishing rights. The author has complete control over the work (e.g., retains the right to reuse, distribute, republish, etc.).  All articles published in the Iranian Journal of Educational Research (IJER)  are open access which means the articles are freely available online for anyone to download and use the providing address to the individual authors. In the Iranian Journal of Educational Research (IJER) as an open-access journal, authors sign a publishing agreement where they will have ownership but grant broad publishing and distribution rights to the publisher, including the right to publish the article on the journal's website.

Open Access Statement
The Iranian Journal of Educational Research (IJER) is a fully open-access journal, which means that all articles are available on the Web to all users immediately upon publication. All content of the Journal is published with open access under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). This license allows users to copy and redistribute the article under the following conditions:
Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format for any purpose, even commercially.
Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially.
The licensor cannot revoke these freedoms as long as you follow the license terms. Under the following terms:
Attribution - You must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.
No additional restrictions - You may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits. 
Benefits of open access for authors include:
   - Authors retain copyright to their work.

COPE Policy
The Iranian Journal of Educational Research (IJER) follows the policies and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and abides by its Code of Conduct in dealing with potential cases of misconduct. The Iranian Journal of Educational Research (IJER) is committed to meeting and upholding standards of ethical behavior at all stages of the publication process. We follow closely the industry associations, such as the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) that set standards and provide guidelines for best practices in order to meet these requirements.
